FINAL REFLECTION

When I started this program, I did not know what to expect. I thought we were going to spend the entire time working on coding and learning how to code in swift. While we did some of this, we learned so much more. I learned more about design than I ever knew before, I learned a lot about Apple products and now I even have a few of my own, and I created some great relationships that I will carry for the rest of my life.
At the beginning of this program, I was a novice teacher with a chip on my shoulder from all the things I have been involved in. I am now an experienced teacher that helps others, has done a learning event for other teachers, and looks for new opportunities to grow in education.
The hardest part of the entire journey was easily the innovation plan. I felt lost most of the way through it. I struggled with certain parts of the innovation plant, and if it was not for the help of Alex Ortiz I do not think I would have finished the project. MY project was not the best, but I was happy with the amount of work I did and the outcome of the presentation.
The best part of the entire journey was the trip to Phoenix. Every part of the trip was amazing from the beginning to the end. The ability to make connections and grow with the coding, design, and my teaching style was great. I even was able to take one of my classes back to the teachers on my campus making things extra eventful.
I am very appreciative to Apple, Lamar, Dr. Thibodeaux, and Dr. Harapnuick. Thank you for your guidance and patience. I look forward to the next step in my journey.
